This is an elegant and stylish hardbacked notebook containing 88 pages/176 sides of beautifully smooth recycled, chlorine free paper with a natural, unbleached appearance. It's perfect for journaling and sketching.

Stitched with waxed linen thread, the book is covered with this lovely paper from Cambridge Imprint, a recreation of a pattern originating in an artist’s colony established in the Sussex village of Ditchling in 1921 by Eric Gill, Hilary Pepler and Desmond Chute.

The book opens flat so you can fill the page from edge to edge, whether you're left or right handed. Keep your place with the ribbon page marker. The elastic closer keeps it closed and uncrumpled in your bag or backpack, so you can take it everywhere with you, and record every thought, image or event as it occurs to you. The lovely paper takes all ink well, including fountain pen, so you can write smoothly and comfortably with your favourite pen.
